The Commissioned Sales Representative will promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach and ensures prompt collections.

 The Sales Representative should be able to demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Undertakes in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Works closely with Merchandisers to ensure company products are properly merchandised.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing and sales management.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Consistently meets established sales and collection targets

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of experience as a sales representative
  • A Diploma in Business, Management Studies or the equivalent
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • Ability to prepare sales reports and maintain activity records

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Customer focused, ethical and goal oriented.
  • Able to speak convincingly about Seprod products (describe the products available, how products are used and explain the benefits of products)
  • A committed team member seeking continually to develop new client networks and to maintain existing ones.
  • Proficient in responding to enquires and concerns by telephone, electronically or in person.
  • The owner of a reliable motor vehicle as the job requires significant travel.
