Commercial Sales Representative


Responsible for prospecting and acquiring new clients by actively engaging with potential customers outside of the office or company premises. They build relationships, conduct meetings, and present product or service offerings, ultimately driving revenue growth and expanding the company's customer base in Jamaica inclusive of supporting and liaising with counterparts throughout the Line’s network.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan.
  • Plan and conduct commercial visits & phone calls as per agency sales’ segmentation.
  • Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products.
  • Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and/or improve revenues according to commercial strategy.
  • Update commercial data and customer feedback in CRM.
  • Meet targets in SVPC (Sales Visits Phone Calls) and qualitative targets.
  • Relay pricing requests from customers to Sales Support, relay other requests from customers to Customer Care.
  • Administering the Line’s commercial policies and rates, considering the prevailing market conditions;
  • Monitoring the local market with recommendations for market penetrations;
  • Reviewing and reporting of sales performance;
  • Monitoring of local sourcing and communication linked to import/inbound and export/outbound flows;
  • Assisting with the commercial activities of the Agency in support of the Line’s objectives in the area of representation;
  • Ensuring the Line’s services are marketed in an efficient manner;
  • Efficient handling of D&D matters such as discount/waiver requests, erroneous invoicing, additional free time requests;
  • Managing daily issues as may be required.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in liner shipping.
  • Sales Expertise in a customer facing activity environment.
  • Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Understand CMA-CGM group organization, processes & Tools.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office.
  • Knowledge in NOVA.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to use data to dive decision making.
  • Excellent command of English with excellent communication skills;
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office;
  • Autonomous and responsive;
