Collections Manager

The Collections Manager leads customer receivables and drives effective collection outcomes across the business, ensuring strong credit practices, accurate customer accounts, and sustainable cash flow in a fast paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities 

• Provide leadership and oversight of all receivables, credit management, billing, and collection activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the receivables team to deliver agreed performance targets and service standards.
• Monitor customer accounts, credit exposure, and aged receivables, taking timely action to address delinquent balances and emerging risks.
• Partner with relevant internal teams to support effective credit decisions and resolve customer account issues.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with approved credit and collection policies, audit requirements, and financial standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in accounting or receivables management, with at least three (3) years at a managerial level.
• Experience working in a high-volume, transaction-driven commercial environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with accounting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data and produce clear, actionable management reports.
