The Collections CSR is responsible for contacting customers to resolve past-due accounts while maintaining positive customer relationships and minimizing financial losses.

Job Summary:

The Collections CSR is responsible for performing collection efforts and adjustments to past due accounts through telephone calls or personal visits. The Collections CSR must maintain good customer relations with borrowers and effectively solve problems in an effort to resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • While adhering to company policies and procedures, demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers.
  • Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
  • May be required to support other queues to facilitate teamwork in the department.
  • Escalates and assists other team members with calls as needed.
  • Ensure that the bank’s core values are maintain in all external and internal dealings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) C.X.C or GCE ‘O’ Levels inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a Customer Service
  • Any prior experience in collections would be an asset
  • Any knowledge of retail and commercial banking products and services will also be an asset.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
