Collections Associate - AVAILABLE TO WORK THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY 2PM - 11PM

Blewstream is hiring Collections Specialists to join our team, this role is responsible for managing the collections process, ensuring timely receipt of payments and fostering strong client relationships. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM 2PM – 11PM THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Location: 26 Bay Road, St. James, Port of Spain, 16 Orange Grove Rd, Tacarigua (Trintoplan Compound), 14- 16 Turney Street, San Fernando

Key Responsibilities:

• Debt Recovery: Contact customers to collect outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans
• Account Monitoring: Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via phone, email, or mail to resolve payment issues
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions
• Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations

 Requirements:

• An associate’s degree in finance and/or accounting (bachelor’s degree or ACCA Level 1 is often preferred)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, advanced computer proficiency, and proven experience in a target-driven environment
• 2+ years’ experience in customer service, telesales, collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role
• Highly articulate with excellent communication skills
• Resilience to deal with hard customers
• Proficient in Excel
• Exhibits exceptional self-discipline in remote work settings, consistently achieving established targets
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago
• Available to work from 2pm – 11pm Thursday through Monday
• Available to train in office from 11am – 7:30 pm for the first month
