Key Responsibilities

▪  Follow up on client's medical bills and records through multiple vendor portals

▪ Track and manage requests using the case management system, and take follow-up action as needed

▪  Contact medical providers by phone and email to resolve delays or issues with requests

▪  Work closely with other collection agents to prioritize outreach and time-sensitive needs

▪  Ensure requests are completed and closed out accurately and on time 

▪  Respond promptly to assigned tasks, messages, and internal requests

 

Required Skills/ Experience

▪  Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in bill collections, medical billing follow-up, or similar outbound role (Must)

▪  Should have at least 1-year Customer experience

▪  Comfortable overcoming objectives and follow up consistently with vendors and providers

▪   Adaptable and solution-oriented, with a willingness to take initiative

▪   Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

▪   Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends and evenings. (Must)

▪   Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment (Must)

▪   Strong interpersonal skills combined with excellent written and stellar verbal communication skills.

▪   Professional, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality

▪   Ability to type 30 wpm minimum with accuracy.

▪   Ability to organize and follow-up multiple tasks/details with accuracy and timeliness.

▪   Comfortable using technology, including case management systems, software applications, and phone system

Education Requirements:

▪   High school diploma or equivalent required

▪   Post Secondary education is considered an asset.
