This role leads the cloud and infrastructure roadmap, designs reference architectures for critical platforms (such as D365/Azure, CRM, onboarding, trading/OMS, and analytics), and ensures infrastructure is stable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Operating within a regulated financial services environment, the role drives modernization initiatives while maintaining strong governance, resilience, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and secure enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and cloud connectivity.
  • Lead cloud architecture, migration, and modernization initiatives, defining reference architectures for platforms such as Microsoft D365, CRM, trading/OMS, onboarding, and analytics systems.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and CI/CD integration to enable consistent, repeatable, and auditable infrastructure deployments.
  • Own cloud financial management (FinOps), including cost allocation, optimization, and reporting across cloud environments.
  • Embed security-by-design across infrastructure, including IAM governance, network security, vulnerability management, and secrets/key management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards, supporting DR/BCP testing and regulatory examinations.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and observability capabilities, including logging, metrics, alerting, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead infrastructure incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation in collaboration with compliance, risk, and business teams.
  • Provide Tier 3 support, mentor junior team members, and act as technical owner for key infrastructure vendors and partners.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • AWS certification required (Solutions Architect or SysOps)
  • Azure (AZ-104 / AZ-305) and Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) certifications preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 2 years in cloud-focused roles
  • Proven experience operating in hybrid cloud and regulated or mission-critical environments
  • Strong expertise in AWS and Azure platforms, including infrastructure, networking, identity, and monitoring services
  • Deep understanding of network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, and secure connectivity
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation tools, and CI/CD integration
  • Experience supporting containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/ECS/AKS)
  • Strong security mindset with experience in IAM governance, vulnerability management, and compliance controls
  • Solid understanding of high-availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
  • Demonstrated ability in cloud cost management (FinOps) and resource optimization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including engagement with auditors, regulators, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement
