Clinical Oncologist

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Clinical Oncologist to deliver comprehensive cancer care, manage complex cases, lead multidisciplinary discussions, and support clinical staff. Experience in a radiation centre will be an advantage.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Oncologist to join their team:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive cancer oncology care across all stages of treatment.
• Independently manage complex oncology cases and ensure coordinated care across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead and participate in tumour boards, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and educate clinical staff, fostering professional development.
• Apply evidence-based protocols adapted to the Centre’s resources and context.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, ethical, and professional standards.
• Perform administrative duties, including staff evaluations, departmental planning, and other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Doctor of Medicine degree with specialist registration or board certification in Clinical Oncology.
• Minimum of 2 years post-certification experience at a recognised cancer centre.
• Experience working in a radiation center is advantageous. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Expertise in advanced radiation oncology techniques.
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams and clinical decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including patient and family counselling.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex cases, and prioritise under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, research, and quality improvement.
