JOB TITLE:                               Client Services Representative

JOB PURPOSE:

 

To grow BPM Financial Limited’s client portfolio by providing excellent service to clients. This includes providing support to Financial Advisors in managing the client experience; ensuring that all relevant client data is collected, verified and inputted on the system (Portfolio) for processing and management and all documentation is properly stored and easily accessed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides support to Financial Advisors to ensure that all the required information and documentation for creating new client accounts is collected, verified and stored, to ensure that regulatory standards are met.
  • Ensures that a positive onboarding experience is created for all new clients, including following up with clients to ensure that initial deposits are made to initiate account opening.
  • Responds appropriately to all client inquiries via phone, email, online or in person
  • Educates clients regarding the range of applicable investment options available to them.
  • Gives advice on the products and services offered by the company when clients call, email or visit office expressing interest
  • Responds promptly to walk-in clients, incoming calls and emails and effectively manages client requests
  • Handles customer complaints in a calm and professional manner and works to find solutions
  • Provides clients with necessary documentation to complete, to initiate an account, and checks the accuracy of the documentation completed
  • Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation of actions taken on behalf of clients
  • Accurately create client accounts and update client records, as required
  • Follows up with clients to ensure that all documentation/ information e.g. ID, Proof of address is submitted, and ensue that all initial deposits are made
  • Informs clients of any new available services or updates to existing ones
  • Refers prospective clients who have financial needs other than investments to the appropriate officer in the department.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking financial markets, general economic conditions, and new financial products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional and technical publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Participates in sales and promotional activities, special events, trade shows, conferences and projects that will lead to capturing sales leads and build greater visibility for the company and its products
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Specifications:

 

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Marketing or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience
  • Jamaica Securities Certification
  • Training and experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite
