Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Insurance Operation Services - Client Engagement and Communication team in the capacity of:
Client Services Associate
Deliver superior service and experience with every interaction to the Company’s clients.
Give prompt and accurate information; process financial transactions and policy changes speedily and accurately.
Location: Kingston
As a Client Services Associate, you will:
- Greet and monitor the movement of clients to be served by the Client Services Representatives on an on-going basis.
- Interview clients requesting funds and advise them of the amounts available.
- Process clients’ queries appropriately through other units or departments as required; follow-up to ensure completion.
- Introduce clients to other products offered within the group.
- Log detailed summary of all interactions with clients on the ECRIS Service Centre portal including complaints.
- Provide information to clients on, claims status, policy status, loans, dividend and fund balances.
- Review and record all health claims received and submit the original documents to the Claims Department.
- Request and dispatch status letters and health cards ensuring that proper verification is done.
- Input data to generate policy benefit payments for walk-in clients, transactions initiated in branches and received by mail.
- Ensure all pertinent data relating to clients are collected at the time of interaction.
- Process all policy changes via the workforce management system (P360) and provide feedback to internal/external clients as appropriate.
- Receive incoming mail from clients.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Associate’s Degree in Business Management or other related field from a recognized institution.
- Completion of AHIP courses Parts A & B.
- At least two (2) years of Customer Relations experience.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Excellent attitude to client service and teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrable persuasiveness, empathy and tact.
