Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Corporate Banking team in the capacity of:

 

 

 

Client Service Assistant (Contract)

 

 

 Act as the first point of contact for clients by welcoming and directing them based on their needs, relationship preference and available service options.

 

Support Relationship Managers by monitoring the service delivery ensuring that a high standard of professional service, including value-added after-sales service, is delivered at all times.

 

Monitor client traffic to ensure that wait times are kept to a minimum. Listens for opportunities and make recommendations including making referrals or proposing other channels to meet client needs.

 

 

Location: Kingston 

 

 

As a Client Service Assistant, you will:

 

  • Provide superior service through greeting and directing walk-in clients to the appropriate branch personnel.
  • Achieve assigned cross sell and referral targets by opportunity spotting and educating clients about appropriate products and services to satisfy needs.
  • Verify and dispatch audit confirmations for processing.
  • Deliver statements, deposit receipts, deposit books, cheque books and credit cards to clients.
  • Provide management of client feedback on their experience for inclusion in the feedback tracker report.
  • Collect and dispatch incoming mails/ correspondences.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.

 

 

What do you need?

 

  • Diploma in Business Management Studies or other related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum five (5) CXC/GCE O’Level subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
  • Training in Customer Service would be an asset.
    Minimum of one (1) year working experience in a Customer Service environment would be an asset.
  • Prior experience in a Commercial Bank would be a distinct advantage.
  • Working knowledge of the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
  • Must be client centric with good interpersonal and complaint handling skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill.
  • High proficiency in the use of computer software packages particularly Microsoft excel and Microsoft word applications.
