Sagicor Investment Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Investment Client Services – Service Hub team in the capacity of:

 

 

 

Client Relationship Officer

 

 

 

 Process requests received from clients.

 

Support the designated sales and investment advisors in the delivery of exceptional client service by ensuring that client requests and transactions are carried out in an efficient and courteous manner.

 

Build on relationships with existing clients in keeping with the strategic direction of the company.

 

 

Location: Kingston 

 

 

 

As a Client Relationship Officer, you will:

 

 

  • Act on instructions received from clients including requests submitted by Wealth Advisors for client transactions and monitor transactions through to proper completion.
  • Initiate relevant documentation for opening accounts in accordance with the company’s guidelines.
  • Ensure full adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding requirements and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Generate and print maturity reports daily and follow through with Wealth Advisors to ensure standing orders, coupon payments and withdrawal requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor SIMA/Settlement Accounts including Bond, Stockbrokerage and Sigma Funds to ensure that no client transactions are outstanding.
  • Respond to client enquiries and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Performing relief service in other branch locations in the region and all other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

 

 

What do you need?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Qualification in the Jamaica Securities Certificate course.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in a similar position.
  • Sound understanding of financial sector instruments and the regulatory environment.
  • Strong client service skills.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand and deal with client’s individual needs and requirements.
  • High level of professionalism, ethical standards and enthusiasm.
