Our client is an established offshore accounting services provider who service several international clients. Due to growth, they are seeking to recruit an aspiring accountant with multi-client servicing capabilities to join the Barbados based operation.
Overview: Our client is an established offshore accounting services provider who service several international clients. Due to growth, they are seeking to recruit an aspiring accountant with multi-client servicing capabilities to join the Barbados based operation.
The successful candidate will manage client accounting matters across daily operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory filings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards as necessary.
• Provide analysis and insights to support financial statements.
• Assist or prepare and file corporate tax returns and other statutory filings as may be required.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including VAT, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounting matters.
• Advise clients on financial best practices and compliance requirements in alignment with company policy.
• Support international business transactions and cross-border financial operations as may be required.
• Help Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes to help enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and minimum Level 2 ACCA.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, with exposure to international business operations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and international tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Attention to details while understanding the overall objectives and goals.
- Cultural awareness and adaptability in working with international clients.
