About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO is a pivotal executive responsible for translating futuristic strategies into world-class operational reality. You will oversee the daily heartbeat of the company, ensuring synergy across all branch locations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy & Performance: Developing strategic and operational plans and managing branch budgets, forecasts, and KPIs/SLAs to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Operational and Customer Excellence: Managing day to day operations while maintaining futuristic operating guidelines designed to ensure efficiency, exceptional medical care, and maximum machine uptime.
  • Facilities Management, Procurement and Audits: Managing facilities and key support functions end-to-end to ensure proper procurement processes and management controls are in place and well managed at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardization, and the strategic use of AI.
  • People Leadership & Development: Fostering a healthy sense of team spirit and unity while providing direct oversight to senior roles, including the Bio-Med/IT Support Manager, Operations Manager, and Branch Supervisors.
  • Growth & Coaching: Facilitating a collaborative environment where team members are continuously trained and empowered to grow in their roles.
  • Relationship Management and Executive Oversight: Being a trusted partner to the CEO, building robust stakeholder relationships, preparing reports for the Board of Directors and providing leadership for the company in the absence of the CEO.

About the Person

We are looking for a tech-savvy, critical thinker who inspires and motivates others to achieve greatness. You must be a "people person" who finds joy in building high-performing teams and delivering results.

Key Competencies:

  • Education & Experience: A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. You should have at least 5 years of experience in Operations management, with at least 3 years at a senior leadership level.
  • Industry Knowledge: While work experience in medical administration is a distinct asset, it is not mandatory for the right leader.
  • Mentoring & Coaching: A deep passion for coaching and facilitating the professional development of team members.
  • Growth Mindset and Stakeholder Management: An agile learner who stays abreast of and is effective in implementing cutting-edge technologies and trends in diagnostic imaging while being highly effective in relationship management at all levels.
  • High Emotional Intelligence: Empathetic and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong skills in business integration, understanding financials and using data to manage financial outcomes.
  • Logistics: Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a motor vehicle for travel between branch locations.
