Parliament Management Commission (PMC) is a dynamic organization committed to safeguarding democracy and promoting good governance by providing exceptional support services to Parliamentarians as they strive to serve their constituents, and pass legislations for all the people of our islands. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFO to join our team and lead our financial strategy.

As the principal financial advisor to the PMC's Council and Chief Officer, the CFO will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic advice in the following areas to ensure the financial objectives of the PMC are met within the constraints of the Public Management and Finance Acts. The main duties of the CFO will include:

  • Strategic Advice and Financial Planning
  • Budget & Forecasting
  • Financial Reporting and Management
  • Management and Administration
  • Ledger Management
  • Internal Controls
  • Annual Audit


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, CFA, etc.) in good standing.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years in middle/senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of public sector accounting standards and government procedures preferred.
