JOB SUMMARY 

As CEO, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, governance, growth, culture and reputation. Reporting to the Group CEO and Board, you will be entrusted with: 

  • Translating enterprise strategy into sustained commercial performance.
  • Strengthening governance, reporting discipline, and executive accountability.
  • Leading market-responsive innovation and portfolio expansion.
  • Building a succession-ready leadership team.
  • Positioning the organization as a trusted corporate citizen and employer of choice.
  • Embedding ESG and sustainability into business decision-making. 

You will have the mandate, autonomy, and institutional support to make a lasting impact.

JOB DUTIES

Strategic Impact Areas 

Enterprise Leadership & Performance 

  • You will lead the design and execution of long-term strategy, oversee enterprise KPIs and ensure transparent, high-quality reporting to Group leadership and the Board.
  • You will anticipate regulatory, competitive and technological shifts turning complexity into advantage.
  • You will also provide strong commercial and operational leadership, driving revenue growth, margin optimization, cost discipline and operational excellence across the value chain, while ensuring scalable systems, resilient processes, and consistent execution. 

Growth & Innovation

  • You will champion structured innovation, oversee investment portfolios and launch new profitable business lines while maintaining capital discipline. 

Market & Customer Leadership

  • You will deepen relationships with key customers, principals and suppliers, positioning the company as a preferred partner in the region. 

Culture & Talent

  • You will shape a high-performance, values-driven culture, build leadership depth and ensure continuity through strong succession planning. 

Purpose, ESG & Reputation

  • You will represent the organization with credibility and influence across government, unions, industry bodies and communities, strengthening license to operate and long-term trust.

 

EDUCATION & QULAIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A relevant Master’s degree.
  • At least ten (10) years of senior executive leadership experience.
  • Strong grounding in corporate governance, finance and performance management.
  • A track record of delivering profitable, sustainable growth in an FMCG environment.
  • Proven success in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Advanced negotiation and relationship-management capability.
  • Executive presence, sound judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • The ability to lead under pressure with clarity and calm.
  • Experience in regulated, unionized, or multi-entity environments is highly valued.
