Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join Clarence Thomas Ltd./Bell's Cafe'.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring that high-quality food is consistently served to our customers. The Chef will be expected to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment, and must be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.

1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including showcase items, entrees, desserts, and special diets.
2. Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Receive all orders and store them away.
4. Plan and develop new menus, recipes, and presentation styles to keep pace with culinary trends and customer preferences.
5. Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
6. Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency in all dishes prepared and served.
7. Conduct regular inventory of food and supplies, and order as necessary to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
8. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
9. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including all equipment, utensils, and workstations.
10. Develop and implement menus, recipes, and presentation styles that meet customer needs and preferences.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients, and apply this knowledge to menu development and food preparation.
