The channel business manager is responsible for overseeing sales accounts in the Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, it plays a crucial role in generating leads, nurturing and expanding existing relationships, and identifying potential opportunities for business growth.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Territory Management: Scrutinizing territories to identify untapped opportunities and potential channel partners.
  • Sales and Business Development: Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand the customer base. This may involve identifying new channel partners, cultivating relationships with existing partners, and providing them with the necessary resources and support.
  • Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with channel partners and effectively communicating Huawei's value proposition. This involves understanding partner needs, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Channel Enablement: Providing training, guidance, and assistance to channel partners to enhance their understanding of the company's products and services. This is crucial for maximizing sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product expansion or improvement. This information can inform sales and marketing strategies to gain a competitive edge
Experience requirment: 
  • Sales and Business Development: Strong sales skills and experience in managing channel partners, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets.
  • Channel Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, internal teams, and stakeholders. This involves effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
  • Product and Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of current enterprise business products, solutions, and technology offerings within the Caribbean, as well as knowledge of the market landscape, trends, and competition.
  • Partner's high-performance operations and maintenance experience 
  • Experience in CISCO product sales
