The Central Monitoring Station Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Central Monitoring Station, ensuring timely and accurate responses to vehicle alerts, intrusion alarms and client incidents. This role includes supervising staff, monitoring alarmplatforms, coordinating emergency assistance, and maintaining high operational standards across all shifts.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staff handling alarm monitoring, verification, and escalation.
  • Manage dispatches pushed to the various response team via the Now Force App.
  • Conduct shift briefings and provide end-of-shift situation reports to the Manager.
  • Monitor call quality, coaching staff to improve accuracy, service, and protocol adherence.
  • Review staff performance, conduct coaching sessions and completed staff appraisals.
  • Create staff rosters, manage attendance, and ensure punctuality and coverage.
  • Cross-train new employees and support ongoing skill development.
  • Enforce company SOPs, policies, and performance standards across the team.
  • Review client information, alarm history and incidents report to ensure proper handling.
  • Verify that vehicles, alarm systems, tools, and monitoring platforms and functioning daily.
  • Ensure reporting, incident documentation, and client escalations are completed correctly.
 
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Associate Degree in Business-related field or IT.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in safety and security practices (an asset).
