Job brief

The CMS Operator, is responsible for monitoring internal and external events that occur on a 24/7 basis. The Command Centre serves as the focal point for managing and coordinating a response to incidents at client locations.

We are looking for a skilled individuals with experience in Call Center operations and dispatching.

Responsibilities

• Effectively process and record all Guard Tour information on the spreadsheets provided.
• Receive and respond to emergency calls via computer-aided dispatch systems.
• Dispatch security personnel to respond to ALL alarms and Manitou, ensuring that each client is given all status updates.
• Log shift activities of all duties.
• Conduct both written and verbal handovers to ensure a smooth flow of activities.
• Monitor physical security systems and cameras and respond/coordinate responses to safety and security issues on locations.
• Submit reports as required.
• Maintain observation of vehicle fleet’s and submit reports as required.
• Report all offline vehicles at the end of each shift.
• Ensure Silver Track is logged in at all times and the relative information is processed.
• Perform various administrative tasks as assigned or directed from time to time, including: emails, access control, incoming calls and other security activities.
• Perform other related functions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of computer programs and radios
• Computer Literacy Certification
• 5 CXC Passes
• Related certification
• Ability to multi task
• Excellent Communication skills
• Knowledge on dispatching
• Excellent clerical and organization skills
• 3+ years of directly related work experience required
