Mother’s Enterprises Limited is seeking to identify a suitably qualified individual to join its catering team as a Catering Coordinator. The suitable candidate will assist with planning, executing and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and delivery.

 

Main Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for all catering clients.
    • Assist clients in selecting menus, services, event details and provide suggestions and solutions.
    • Conduct site visits and client consultations.
    • Prepare detailed events orders and proposals.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all event requirements are met.
    • Oversee the booking and scheduling of catering staff for events.
    • Arrange for rental equipment, floral arrangements and other external services.
    • Maintain accurate and organized client files, contracts and event documentation.
    • Manage billing and track expenses related to events.
    • Assist in preparing catering reports, sales forecasts and budget tracking.
    • Manage inventory of catering supplies.
    • Provide on-site support during events, oversee setup and breakdown and address any immediate issues that may arise.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
    • Assist the Catering Manager in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
    • Contribute to social media content and promotional materials for catering.
    • Identify potential new business opportunities and support sales efforts.

Qualifications, Experience& Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in catering, event planning, hospitality or related customer service role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with catering management software such as Tripleseat or Delphi.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale Systems.
  • Updated Food Handler’s Permit or certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in planning, documentation and execution.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and has strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays and evening events.
