The Cashier is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standard and safeguarding the company’s assets. The Cashier is also responsible for the collection of installments and deposits.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Ensure that customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, solid product knowledge and all other aspect of customer service,
  • Accurate and efficiently recording of all incoming receipts,
  • Accurate preparation of  lodgments for bank,
  • Disburse and reimbursement of petty cash,
  • Communicate customer request to management,
  • Maintain orderly appearance of cashier area,
  • Calling of Customers
  • Any other task as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Generally accepted accounting practices and principles;
• Computer applications related to the work;
• Techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, in person and over the telephone.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience i
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail
