We are looking for a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Diamond. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, handling cash safely, and providing excellent customer service. Only Guyanese nationals are eligible to apply.

We are looking for a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Diamond. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, handling cash safely, and providing excellent customer service. Only Guyanese nationals are eligible to apply.
Job Description:
Accurately process cash, cheques, debit, credit, and other transactions.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as required.
Balance the cash register and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Posting of deposits entry into accounting software
Provide courteous and efficient service to all customers and internal staff.
Verify prices and quantities, and ensure accuracy in billing.
Handle customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department if needed.
Follow company policies regarding cash handling, security, and fraud prevention.
Assist with basic administrative and support tasks as directed by supervisors.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
Must be a Guyanese national.
Minimum of 5 CSEC passes (including Mathematics and English).
Previous experience as a cashier, teller, or in a customer service role would be an advantage.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer literacy (POS systems knowledge is an asset).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Honest, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
