Caribbean Operations Coordinator, Guyana

Functions:

  • Assist in the coordination of operational and administrative processes required for the efficient functioning of regional operations.
  • Support in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, monthly reports and presentations of results.
  • Support the implementation of local and corporate procedures, policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate agendas, meetings, travel, and logistics for physical presence for regional team.
  • Keep the records and databases of suppliers and operational processes updated.
  • Follow up on regulatory compliance tasks and internal audits, collecting evidence and necessary documentation.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and provide support in purchasing processes or selection of services.
  • Channel internal and external communications related to ongoing operations and projects.
  • Monitor the monthly operation in OPS LOG entries reviewing that details pertaining to shipments are correctly entered to ensure proper visibility of those details.
  • Keep updated KPI's for presentation to clients who require them by collecting data with each station manager.
  • Conduct/coordinate training for new staff where necessary to assist with operations.
  • Perform various administrative tasks that facilitate the day-to-day life of the executive and the regional team.
  • Detect and report non-conformities to create improvement opportunities in your area.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2–5 years’ experience in logistics, operations, or administrative coordination

  • Strong knowledge of freight/logistics operations and shipment documentation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics or ERP systems is an asset

  • Experience with reporting, budgets, KPIs, and compliance documentation

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to coordinate regional activities and support multi-location teams

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Knowledge of Caribbean logistics operations is a plus

  • English required
