Caribbean ARI Inc. (CARI), trading as Runway Duty Free at the Grantley Adams Industrial airport

in Barbados, is primarily involved in the purchase and sale of retail goods and merchandise of all kinds inclusive of duty-free items in Barbados.  CARI was incorporated in Barbados in June 2006 and commenced operations in 2007. It is part of an internationally recognized group within the Travel Retail sector and is owned equally by Aer Rianta International cpt (ARI) based in Ireland and Caribbean International Airways Ltd. based in Barbados. The ultimate beneficiaries of the holding are the Government of Barbados and the Government of Ireland.

As part of a global entity, our retail operations are defined by ARI’s 5S standards known as Shop,

Staff, Service, Selling and Shelf. These are paramount to our success in the industry and allows

for optimal professionalism and quality of service while providing customers with excellent

products.
