Serves customers by providing product and service information. Monitors inventory levels and maintain stock levels. Effectively conduct and perform accurate cash/accounting transactions while providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Cashing duties:

1.  Count cash at beginning of shift to ensure correct float and adequate change.

2.  Receive payments by cash, cheque, debit and credit cards.

3.  Apply payments to invoices.

4.  Issue change due to customers and receipts and refunds where necessary, ensuring proper documentation and  authorization.

5.  Balance sales transactions at end of shift in accordance with report from ODOO and ensure proper hand over.

6.  Report problems to immediate supervisor for timely resolution of customer queries.

7. Prepare Daily Cash Report and Transmittal Reports.

8. Any other related duties required by your supervisor and manager.

 

Customer Service Representative duties:

  1. Greet Customers in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Answer customer inquiries regarding products and service; suggest information about products and services.
  3. Inform customers of sales promotions and services, warranties or terms of sale and process payments for orders.
  4. Sell products and services.
  5. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  6. Receive and send emails.
  7. Follow up with customers on prices and orders received.
  8. Attend to customers on the counter and over the phone.
  9. Liaise with the warehouse to ensure that the goods are in stock before billing customers.
  10. Prepare quotations for customers
  11. Any other related duties required by your supervisor and manager.

Inventory duties:

  1. Completing all data entry associated with stock request as required via the In-transit entry on ODOO.
  2. Updating ODOO with all stock received via transfers from other branches while ensuring that all data is entered accurately. (i.e.: quantities, bin locations etc)
  3. Liaising with the Warehouse and Showroom team to ensure all shelves/bins are labeled accurately and ODOO updated where necessary.
  4. Entering of bin transfers when/if stock is relocated within the Warehouse or Showroom.
  5. Ensuring that Goods Received Notes are completed by the Warehouse receiving staff for local purchases and that all relevant documentation is submitted to Inventory Department - Head Office for processing.
  6. Update ODOO or other company databases with relevant inventory information accurately, forwarding all incomplete documents to the Manager for resolution.
  7. Maintains data entry requirements by following relevant policies and procedures.
  8. Assisting with physical stock counts which include verification and adjustments.
  9. Assisting with resolution of inventory queries.
  10. Administrative duties: i.e. filing ensuring that all inventory related documents are filed and stored in chronological order.
  11. Ordering of goods
  12. Any other responsibilities as designated by the Manager in achieving departmental goals.

Communicate to your supervisor immediately any issues to prevent gaps in the quality of service to our customers.

Identify the potential risks and associated benefits of business development for MESL, optimising profitability through the effective management of resources available.
