The Credit Control Manager leads the organisation’s credit risk function, ensuring disciplined approval processes, thorough customer credit evaluations, and proactive monitoring of accounts to maintain strong financial control and minimise exposure.

JOB DUTIES
  • Provides strategic leadership of the Credit control management function, ensuring robust governance, disciplined operational execution and full adherence to all established policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Conducts structured customer visits to address account‑related issues, reinforce commercial relationships and obtain current, evidence‑based assessments of creditworthiness.
  • Ensures the timely production, verification and approval of accurate customer account reconciliations, maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
  • Oversees the onboarding of new customer accounts by ensuring all credit applications are accurately completed, supported by validated credit information from financial institutions and suppliers, and reviewed prior to approval.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives across Credit Control operations, including enhancements to invoicing practices, escalation procedures, follow‑up protocols and overall query management.
  • Prepares and maintains the quarterly debt provision schedules, ensuring prudent financial planning and clear representation of organisational credit exposure.
  • Establishes and evaluates key performance indicators to measure the department’s efficiency, effectiveness and contribution to the organisation’s overall financial health.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • ACCA Level 2, or Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Management Credit and Collections
