COST ACCOUNTING ANALYST

AS A COST ACCOUNTING ANALYST, YOU WILL:

• Play a crucial role in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on manufacturing costs.
• Develop a deep understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Provide essential data that supports informed decision-making across the organization.

DAY TO DAY RESPONISIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Maintaining standard cost system data (materials, labour, overhead).
• Analyzing manufacturing variances and reporting on findings.
• Performing inventory reconciliations and assisting with cycle count programs.
• Preparing cost accounting journal entries and supporting the month-end close.
• Generating cost reports and dashboards for management.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting related to production costs.
• Supporting audits and ad-hoc analysis requests.
