POSITION: CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER
REPORTS TO: COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
PURPOSE: To develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communication strategies, manage public relations activities, and oversee corporate communications to ensure the company's visibility, brand representation, and effective stakeholder engagement.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
• Create and execute Public/Community Relations strategies to maintain and enhance the company's public image and brand reputation.
• Maintain relationships with media outlets to ensure adequate coverage of major events and sponsorships through media coverage and/or press releases.
• Develop and manage all public relations and corporate communications programs, including internal and external communications.
• Write speeches for corporate events and the executive team, and develop press releases, advertorials, and marketing collateral.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement various events such as branch events, category expos, media events, store events, Big Prize road shows, and other promotional activities.
• Manage the donations process, review requests for donations, provide feedback to applicants, follow up on product donations, and manage sponsorship agreements.
• Develop and manage the public relations and corporate communications budget, track expenses, prepare payments, and provide monthly variance analysis and accruals.
• Plan and coordinate the production of the company's quarterly newsletter.
• Assist HR in disseminating positive news and motivational content to staff.
• Communicate with media and external parties regarding the company’s customer service initiatives and specific customer complaints.
• Perform any other related duty that may be assigned to you by your management line to ensure effective and efficient operations.
