CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

Job Purpose
Oversee construction projects from planning to completion, manage client relationships, prepare cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and handle contract documentation. Combine technical construction expertise with leadership and sales skills to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.


Main Duties

Client Engagement & Sales

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Conduct site visits, assess needs, and recommend solutions.

  • Present project details, timelines, and costs.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.

Project Estimation & Documentation

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs.

  • Develop project budgets and track costs.

  • Draft and review contracts and payment schedules.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Site Management & Coordination

  • Plan and schedule work, allocate resources, and supervise daily operations.

  • Coordinate with project teams to align estimates with actual execution.

  • Monitor progress, address risks, and resolve site issues promptly.


Reporting To: Managing Director
Works With: Project, Finance, and Client Relations Teams
Supervises: Site team and contractors


Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Sales/Negotiation certification is an asset.

  • 3+ years in construction site management, estimating, or BOQ preparation.

  • Knowledge of construction materials, costs, and market trends.

  • Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.
