COATINGS TECHNICIAN- CORROSION SOLUTIONS

The Coatings Technician is responsible for managing the industrial coatings order fulfilment process, ensuring customized paint orders meet OEM specifications, and maintaining accurate job documentation.

 JOB DUTIES

• Provide complete supervision of the Industrial Coatings order fulfillment process, from receipt of customer P.O to the delivery of the order.
• Ensures all orders for customized paint are prepared according to O.E.M specification and on a timely basis.
• Ensures all Jobs are properly documented in a job card and forwarded to relevant CSR for updating on the WIP system.
• Prepares all local and foreign stock orders for approval by the Corrosion Solutions Manager.
• Validates all incoming shipments ensuring quantities received are in alignment with Supplier invoice and company purchase order.
• Oversees the proper storage, handling and rotation of all stock employing the FIFO system.
• Plan and execute monthly inventory cycle counts and reconcile all variances.
• Prepares monthly inventory reports detailing WIP values and inventory movement.
• Plan and coordinate daily operational activities with line manager.
• Completion of job cards, delivery notes, transfer forms and other internal documents.
• Perform any other job duties as required by the job function.
