TRUCK DRIVERS, Class 4/5 & FORKLIFT OPERATORS

TRUCK DRIVER - Class 4, 5  & FORKLIFT OPERATORS

• Tractor truck and 40’ trailers

• 5 Ton, 7 ton and 10-ton Forklifts

 Core Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers- hardware stores and contractors, by way of operating delivery trucks and forklifts for deliveries. 
• Provide support to Manufacturing company both when receiving and delivering raw materials and containers to and from all Ports.  
• Receiving instruction including documentation and positively participating in supervision and loading / dispatching.
• To operate company vehicles in a safe, timely and efficient manner in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago regarding driving regulations and OSHA.
• To ensure all goods remain in good condition and any issues are documented.

 Skills

• Time Management
• Excellent driving skills, both on the road and in close quarters.  
• Ability to operate a Hiab is considered an asset.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Appropriate Trinidad and Tobago Driver’s License regarding Class 4 & 5 Drivers.
• At least Five (5) years’ experience operating Heavy T Vehicles.
• A defensive driving certificate will be considered an asset.
• Experience working in Port, Construction and Hardware environments.
• Forklift Operators must be certified to operate.
• Knowledge of the Geography of Trinidad for efficiency in deliveries.
• Recent Certificate of Good Character from the T.T.P.S.
