The Captain of a Chukka Cat is the leader of a talented boat crew who knows how to throw a party. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the catamaran, training and guidance of the crew, guest welfare and satisfaction , the Captain is an all-rounder with the maturity to handle issues regarding the vessel, the team or the guests aboard.

Specialized knowledge, skills and abilities

1. Required to hold any qualifications associated with the operation of a vessel.
2. You must be a licensed mariner with experience as a Boat Captain
3. Must have in-depth knowledge of cargo storage, vessel maintenance and navigation.
4. Must have strong people-management skills as the role is centered on the efficient coordination of crewmembers in line with company requirements.
5. Must be organized and have a strong eye for detail,.
6. Proficiency in any software on the vessel, able to use it day-to-day or in an emergency
7. If it's a snorkel excursion, a guide must be in the water with a rescue aid.
8. Good interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work under pressure
10. Ability to use initiative
11. Good time management skills
