Reconciliation and verification of all bank transactions to ensure proper application of all Cash governing procedures are adhered to meet the financial obligations of the Company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in the monitoring of all banking activities in order to detect irregularities and to investigate all unusual transactions
  • Consults with Credit Department management to discuss and resolve operational problems with regards to cash collection and recording
  • Consults with Account Payable to discuss and resolve matters regarding the entering and posting of payments
  • Preparation of monthly bank transactions journals
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation reports
  • Daily cash collection and payment reports
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned to the meet the needs of the department and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in accounting, auditing or business preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Bank Reconciliations and Cash Management processes.
  • Knowledge of bank reconciliation and clearing account balancing, accounting theories and practices and accepted office procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent Time Management and Customer Service Skills.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interested in process improvement.
  • Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction.
