Business Development Officer (VIP)

Reporting to the Alternative Channels Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing the Corporate Business Development Strategy while offering service of exceptional quality.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (VIP)

Reporting to the Alternative Channels Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing the Corporate Business Development Strategy while offering service of exceptional quality so as to enhance the company's image and thereby ensuring our direct partners consider GKI the Insurer of Choice.

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, team-oriented and organized individual with strong communication, decision making, and analytical skills.

At minimum, applicants should possess the following:

• First Degree in Marketing or related field or pursuing professional Insurance Certification
• Motor and Property Salesman
• Three (3) years’ experience in a general insurance environment
• Proficient in underwriting principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and techniques.
• Strong customer relations and relationship building skills, poise, tact and diplomacy.

• Excellent Presentation Skills

• Strong Business Acumen and skills in Sales Effectiveness, Sales Concepts, Tools and or Techniques

• Excellent time management and the ability to plan, prioritize, negotiate and meet deadlines
