Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales for Company programmes and training. This involves developing an in-depth knowledge of our company’s offerings, pricing, policies and customer base.
Responsibilities also include researching and identifying any gaps in our offerings when compared to market trends, competitors and stakeholder needs. These gaps should be addressed by outlining new business opportunities and changes to our sales strategy. This Officer is responsible for maintaining good working relationships with contacts. Alignment of these functions with our marketing and branding management are critical aspects of Business Development role. The Officer works closely with the CEO to ensure that revenue targets are achieved.
