Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market share, and nurturing client relationships across aesthetic clinics, medspas, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and pharmacies. This role focuses on revenue growth through strategic sales execution, customer acquisition, and long-term account development.
Job Requirements:
Performance & Financial Management:
Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory, and sell-through data by account and SKU.
Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with the supply chain and finance teams, incorporating marketing initiatives. Implement corrective actions based on performance analysis, addressing deviations in KPIs (sell-out, ROI, market share).
Manage brand P&L, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
Sales Enablement and Channel Optimization:
Drive sales team effectiveness through targeted training, performance oversight, and KPI management.
Sales team recruitment and strategy
Develop and implement channel-specific strategies (omnichannel, direct-to-consumer, physician-retail balance) to maximize brand presence and penetration.
Establish and enforce pricing strategies that align with MSRP policies and protect brand equity.
Optimize product distribution and availability across all relevant channels.
Integrated Marketing Execution & Campaign Management:
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute localized marketing campaigns that feature clear, measurable KPIs, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy.
Oversee brand training initiatives, events, and product launches across diverse accounts.
Collaborate with internal design teams and external agencies to develop compelling campaign materials and assets.
Utilize digital and traditional marketing channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Reporting & Collaboration:
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities, opportunities, and client communications.
Provide weekly reports on sales pipelines, conversion metrics, and business performance.
Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, customer service, marketing) to ensure seamless client experience.
Account Management & Retention:
Build strong, lasting relationships with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct regular follow-ups, product training, and usage reviews with clients.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Growth:
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs to inform strategic direction.
Recommend new product opportunities, promotional tactics, or service improvements.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to boost brand visibility.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in medical, beauty, or pharmaceutical distribution.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel locally or regionally to meet clients as required.
