Our client is recruiting a Business Development Coordinator for a 3 months Contract for their Claxton Bay office.

Salary: $7,500.00

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Business Development Coordinators is to maintain good relationships with current clients while simultaneously building new client relationships and generating active sales. To ensure that existing clients are satisfied, and potential clients are interested in securing their company’s services.

Job Accountabilities:
a. Coordinate and arrange meetings, appointments, and conferences.
b. Communicate with potential clients to fully explain how their organization can benefit the client's business and address any hesitations.
c .Ensure that new business strategies are executed properly and are clearly understood by all involved teams.
d. Participate in the marketing campaigns and giving timely input based on the analysis of relevant research data.
e. Work with the Business Development team to come up with new business plans for the company.
f. Accountable for completing all prequalification packages with the assistance of the Business Development Manager in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

a. Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
b. Liaise with the Business Development Manager and the Managing Director to acquire and complete tender packages in a timely manner.
c. Assist with coordinating and organizing Tender packages with a particular focus on large strategic tenders and those with key partners.
d. Ensure all Tender packages are reviewed by the Business Development Manager before submission.
e. Follow up on tender successes and failures with clients and communicate reasons to the management group.
f. Liaise with the Business Development Manager and the Managing Director to acquire and complete tender packages in a timely manner.
g. Assist with coordinating and organizing Tender packages with a particular focus on large strategic tenders and those with key partners.
h. Ensure all Tender packages are reviewed by the Business Development Manager before submission.
i. Follow up on tender successes and failures with clients and communicate reasons to the management group.
j. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Competencies:
a. Diploma/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
b. 2-3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or similar position.
c. Excellent communication and presentation skills
d. Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word
e. Strong leadership and networking skills
f. Ability to work independently and in a team.
g. Ability to manage stressful situations.
h. Knowledge of current happenings in the business scenario
i. Attention to detail.
j. Good time management and organizational skills
k. Ability to offer excellent customer satisfaction.
l. Problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
