About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant based in Jamaica, with proven experience in media sales to join our dynamic team. This independent consultant role is ideal for a self-starter with the maturity to work independently, meet set targets, and deliver measurable results. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our client base, nurturing long-term partnerships, and contributing to overall revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities in the media, advertising, corporate and NGO sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored media and/or advertising intelligence solutions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and presentations as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client support.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and activity logs in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in media sales or a related business development role.
  • Strong network among Media, Advertising, Marketing, PR/Communications professionals.
  • Strong understanding of the local media and advertising landscape
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Must own a computer and have access to reliable internet.
  • Willingness to travel locally for meetings with prospects and clients. .

Compensation & Benefits:
