Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the business in areas such as forecasting, merchandising, process improvement, product review, and special projects. The incumbent in this role must build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers while reflecting the company’s core values of Accountability, Care, and Trust.

Main Responsibilities

Forecasting and Business Support

  • Review sales, market, and historical data to spot trends and prepare forecasts.
  • Work with teams such as Category Management, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to support business planning.
  • Monitor forecast results and make updates when business conditions change.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and insights using tools like Excel and Power BI.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and trends that may affect business performance.
  • Support budgeting, inventory planning, and overall decision-making.
  • Help improve forecasting processes through better tools, automation, and best practices.

Product Review and Rationalization

  • Review product ranges to ensure they match customer needs and business goals.
  • Recommend changes to improve performance, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Work with stakeholders to assess benefits, challenges, and needed improvements.
  • Track and report on the results of product and process changes.

Process Improvement

  • Review and map out business processes and workflows.
  • Identify gaps, delays, or inefficiencies and recommend better ways of working.
  • Help update process documents and support process improvement or automation initiatives.
  • Assist with training or guidance related to process mapping tools and methods.

General Support

  • Contribute to continuous improvement, testing, and system or process enhancements.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned to support the company’s goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • At least 1 year of experience using inventory management systems, including ordering, receiving, and shrink analysis.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry would be an asset.

Skills

  • Good computer skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
