Business Analyst - Reporting and Data Governance

To act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical reporting teams by eliciting requirements, rationalizing report demand, and ensuring that delivered reports align with business objectives and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse SysAid report requests and identify patterns, duplicates, and gaps
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with business users
• Translate business questions into clear report specifications
• Define metrics, KPIs, filters, and business rules
• Map business requirements to existing reports or data sources
• Populate and maintain the Reporting Artefact Database
• Validate reports with stakeholders before sign-off
• Support governance processes for report approval and retirement

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong business analysis experience in data/reporting environments
• Experience within financial services or regulated industries
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Strong understanding of data concepts, KPIs, and reporting lifecycles
• Ability to challenge ambiguous or poorly defined requests
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (SysAid preferred)
• Documentation and artefact creation skills

This is a full-time, onsite consultancy role. Compensation commensurate with experience.
