Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with groups throughout the business and in particular the Finance, Commercial and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs which redound to improved business efficacy.

The Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with groups throughout the business and in particular the Finance, Commercial and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs which redound to improved business efficacy.  Through timely reports and interventions, he/she provides professional and technical support, identifying patterns, issues and opportunities for improvements that help guide decision making at the Executive levels.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Conducting analyses and making comprehensive but targeted and insightful recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
• Developing management reports which provide a range of internal and external data/information to support the Finance and revenue generating teams.
• Analyzing both financial and commercial operational aspects of the business and making recommendations for improvement. 
• Reviewing the Management Report and update as required to match the Business changes.
• Contributing to and leading the creation of deliverables, including KPI’s, general reports, spreadsheets, presentations and other documents and then communicating findings effectively.
• Providing monthly updates to Senior Management with critical company performance metrics.
• Assisting in identifying gaps and trends based on analysis of key operational issues.

Qualifications, Experience and Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounts or Information Technology
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive and timely reports.
