Business Analyst/Executive Assistant

A company in the financial services sector is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst/Executive Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while driving strategic business analysis to support organizational growth. This unique dual-role requires a professional who can balance executive administration with analytical and project management functions to deliver operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential executive and administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling, correspondence, report preparation, and meeting coordination.

  • Conduct research, analyze business processes, and recommend solutions for efficiency and growth.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, financial/statistical analyses, and management recommendations.

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring deliverables are on time and aligned with strategic priorities.

  • Serve as liaison between the CEO, senior leadership, Board members, regulators, and external stakeholders.

  • Support compliance, governance, and reporting through accurate documentation and timely submissions.

  • Assist with policy development, annual business plans, and performance measurement (KPIs).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in executive support, business analysis, or project management, preferably within a financial institution.

  • Proven expertise in process improvement, data analysis, and report preparation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.

  • Strong knowledge of credit union operations and cooperative principles would be an asset.

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to work beyond regular hours.
