On behalf of the The Jamaica Observer Media Group, The Enterprise by IR is seeking to hire a Brand Manager with responsibility for Print & Digital.
Brand Manager - Print & Digital
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Brand Manager to oversee and develop our Media Group brand identity, positioning, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage and enhance the brand’s visual and verbal identity across all media channels.
Manage sponsorship negotiations for internal and external events.
Conduct market research to identify trends, audience insights, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with sales, circulation, online, digital, and editorial teams to ensure brand consistency.
Oversee the creation of marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and promotional digital content.
Monitor and analyze brand performance through KPIs, audience feedback, and analytics tools.
Foster strong relationships with external partners/vendors, advertisers, readers, and media outlets.
Coordinate brand-related events, sponsorships, and collaborations.
Manage branding budgets and coordinate with external agencies or vendors.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging media channels, and innovative branding techniques.
Oversee activations and special projects developed to promote the brands.
Manage all contra arrangements, both internal and external.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive planning, activations, and outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in brand management, preferably within media or digital sectors.
Strong understanding of media landscape, digital marketing, and content strategies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Analytical mindset with experience using analytics tools.
Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging brand narratives.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multimedia platforms and content creation.
Knowledge of branding tools and software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
