Brand Manager - Luxury Beauty

 

The Brand Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and growth of our luxury beauty portfolio across all locations. This role focuses on driving successful brand execution, customer experience, and market positioning. The Brand Manager will ensure that all brands are consistently maintained and elevated, developing and executing strategic initiatives that increase brand awareness, sales, and customer loyalty. The position will collaborate closely with the marketing department and other cross-functional teams to create innovative growth strategies, optimize sales, and ensure smooth operational processes.

 

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY:

This position will provide management direction and counseling, and have direct or indirect leadership responsibility for some aspects of the Beauty Department. This position may directly or indirectly supervise members of the Beauty Department and serves as a coach and mentor for personnel within the company.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

PRIMARY:

  • Brand Execution & Activations

-Lead and execute brand activations and events that reflect the luxury image and values of the

brands.

-Ensure that all in-store brand executions, including visual merchandising, customer experience,

and employee engagement, are consistent with brand guidelines and standards.

  • Sales Reporting & Analytics

-Regularly monitor and report on sales performance across both locations, analyzing trends,

customer behaviors, and key performance metrics.

-Develop actionable insights from sales and customer habit data to drive decisions for inventory

management, product assortment, and promotional strategies.

  • Inventory & Stock Management

-Oversee the forecasting, ordering, and management of stock to maintain a balanced

inventory, minimizing stockouts or excess stock.

-Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and

effective product distribution.

  • Client Management & Relationship Building

-Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and VIP customers, ensuring

personalized service and exceptional brand experiences.

-Develop loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives to drive repeat business and

improve customer retention.

  • Go-To-Market Strategies

-Collaborate with the marketing department to plan and execute go-to-market strategies,

ensuring all campaigns align with brand positioning and target audience.

-Assist in the launch of new products and campaigns, ensuring effective positioning in both

locations.

  • Strategic Growth & Innovation

-Devise and implement strategies to drive the growth of the brands across both locations,

identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships.

-Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity, proposing innovative initiatives to

maintain a competitive edge.

  • Team Leadership & Alignment

-Work closely with the operations, sales, and marketing teams to align all functions with

brand vision and objectives.

-Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring they are aligned with the brands' goals,

values, and expectations for customer service and performance.

SECONDARY:

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:

-Work with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency in all communication, advertising,

and social media strategies.

-Partner with the retail operations team to support sales strategies, customer engagement, and

store experience enhancements.

  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

-Conduct regular market research to understand consumer preferences, emerging trends, and

competitive offerings, adjusting strategies as necessary.

  • Brand Reporting & Budget Management:

-Develop and manage budgets for marketing activities, brand activations, and promotional

campaigns.

-Track and report on ROI and other performance metrics related to branding initiatives.

 

 

EXPERIENCE; EDUCATION & KEY COMPETENCIES

  • BSc. in Business Administration or Management
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Management – retail experience would be an asset
  • Certificate in Supervisory Management
  • Certificate in Inventory Management – would be an asset
  • Certified Beauty Consultant (from a recognized institution)
  • Experience in executing brand activations, promotional events, and luxury customer service practices.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple locations, preferably in a retail or service-driven environment.
  • Strong experience with inventory management, sales reporting, and customer analytics.
  • High School Certificate and/or Diploma
  • Certificate in customer service

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven ability to create and execute successful branding strategies that elevate brand marketing presence and drive growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, customer insights, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in managing VIP clients and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively communicate with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of go-to-market strategies, digital marketing, and luxury brand marketing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
  • Experience in leading teams, motivating staff, and driving performance.
