Manage the development and execution of marketing activities to facilitate the attainment of brand and communication objectives as well as revenue targets for the assigned brand, products and SBUs.

Job Summary:
Manage the development and execution of marketing activities to facilitate the attainment of  brand and communication objectives as well as revenue targets for  the assigned brand, products and SBUs. The role requires closes collaboration with stakeholders with the assigned SBU /Unit as well as creative and event execution partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement appropriate strategies by selecting and segmenting target audience and selecting the optimum promotion and advertising mix to optimize business objectives.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and subsequent updates as may be necessary based on changing business objectives and environment.  
  • Manage the execution of promotional and sales support programmes, events and activities designed to keep the public informed of the company’s products, accomplishments, or agenda.
  • Assist Sales and Business Development teams in formulating the commercial plans for product(s) being managed.
  • Communicate with Principals/SBU Heads  and submit monthly reports as required/ agreed.
  • Monitor budgets, performance and effectiveness of marketing plans and prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure the acquisition of products and services in accordance with VM procurement policies and procedures.  


Qualification & Experience:

  • First Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication studies or any other related field.
  • Experience in the financial service industry would be an asset
  • At least 4 years’ experience with the preparation and execution of marketing programs within a sales- focused environment

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Sales and selling techniques
  • Knowledge of current trends in marketing and financial industry
  • General knowledge of the financial sector, markets, products and services
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools and practices
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
