Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Administration (Corporate Circle) team in the capacity of:
Branch Administration Assistant (Contract)
Provide timely and efficient administrative support to the Branch Manager and Financial Advisors in achieving the objectives of the Branch.
Location: Kingston
As A Branch Administration Assistant, you will:
- Provide administrative support in the day-to-day activities of the Branch:
- Assist the Branch Manager, Clients/ Financial Advisors in processing queries, documents, and forms relating to Client Service, Claims, Premium Accounts, Sales and Marketing, Agency Accounts, New Business/ Underwriting Departments and the Paramedic Unit.
- Assist with the preparation of information kit/ folders for Branch retreats/ meetings.
- Audit stationery level and submit requisitions.
- Prepare minutes of branch meetings.
- Record and check applications and submit to the Scanning Centre for processing:
- Screen applications for completeness and submit to the Scanning Centre on Transmittal Form.
- Alert the Financial Advisors of incomplete applications which have been returned.
- Dispatch policy contracts to Financial Advisors.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Branch Manager and Branch Administration Associate.
- Perform any other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of six (6) CSEC or GCE “O” level subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in a life insurance company.
- Working knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Basic knowledge of Life Insurance principles.
- Sound human relations and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
