Position: Booking Administrator

We are seeking suitably qualified and highly organized individuals to efficiently manage our freight bookings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate coordination of shipments across both ocean and air freight services.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and process shipping instructions from internal and external stakeholders.

Liaise with customers and suppliers to obtain and verify all necessary documentation.

Submit hazardous cargo documentation for approval, where applicable.

Make accurate and timely bookings with ocean and air freight carriers.

Monitor shipment schedules to ensure all departures occur as planned.

Proactively communicate with all parties to prevent delays and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics (preferably in a similar bookings role).

Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation requirements.

Familiarity with handling hazardous goods is an asset.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in relevant logistics or freight booking software is a plus.

Demonstrates strong teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration, guide teams effectively, and achieve shared goals through clear communication, accountability, coordination and strategic direction.
