The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and service medical equipment, and provide staff training on its proper use in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
At least three (3) years experience in the following, as relates to Biomedical Equipment is preferred:
Maintenance
Testing
Installation and commencement
Troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of medical devices, electronics and safety standards.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
Performance of routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on biomedical and laboratory equipment.
Calibration of instruments an verificaation of performance according to manufacturer specifications.
Maintenance of accurate service records and documentation.
Support of staff regarding technical assistance, traininf and equipment troubleshooting.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and hospital or industry regulations.
Assistance with equipment inventory management and lifecycle planning.
