Bakery Supervisor at MegaMart, Waterloo branch

As a Bakery Supervisor, you will oversee the daily production of baked goods, manage a team, and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, answer queries, and address customer feedback professionally.
• Maintain the highest level of product quality by conducting regular inspections, addressing any issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in arranging and presenting baked goods in an attractive and appealing manner for customers.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of bakers and bakery assistants. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• School Leaving Certificate
• 5 C.X.Cs including Mathematics and English
• NVQJ Level 3 Certificate would be an advantage
• Previous experience in a bakery setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and production processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food production.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
